HUB FOR AI RESEARCH IN ARCHIVES
Project led by Dr. Rebecca Y. Bayeck, the Hub for Artificial Intelligence Research in Archives (HAIRA) is an interdisciplinary hub engaged with AI and its redefinition of the future of archiving and archival spaces.
LEARNING – RESEARCHING – ADVOCATING
HAIRA is an interdisciplinary research lab that functions as an interface for understanding, learning, practicing, and thinking about artificial intelligence and its implications in archival and other spaces. At HAIRA, we believe that AI is about thinking, interacting, learning, researching, archiving, and exploring.
We intend to make significant efforts to increase AI literacies. This includes developing accessible tools and resources to demystify AI technologies, while emphasizing the incorporation of AI concepts into curricula to equip students and the broader public with the critical thinking skills needed to navigate an increasingly AI-driven world..
